OUR JOURNEY

 

Pastor Tom Cunningham and his family arrived in New Philadelphia, Ohio in March 2011 and began the exciting and daunting task of pioneering a new church here. Prior to his arrival in Ohio, he was Senior Pastor of Victory Chapel in Casa Grande, Arizona for 8 years after returning to the United States from 4 thrilling years in Livingstone, Zambia (South Central Africa). Upon their arrival, after beginning in the Pastor's home with a few people, we moved to the Lewis Conference Center where we met for only three weeks when God did an unbelievable miracle. Through God's intervention, we were able to buy the church building we were looking at, which is now the building we call home! Amazing to contemplate with all that God has done already, where we will go from here!

 

The Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church of Ohio presents great and exciting possibilities as the church has shown promising growth in a relatively short time, experiencing tremendous forward momentum in these beginning stages. God enabled us to purchase our Church building while we were barely even off the ground. We invite you to join us as we worship God together and seek His will for our lives.

 

OUR ROOTS

 

The Potter's House of Ohio is a Christian Fellowship Ministries' Church (CFM). CFM, Inc. was founded in 1970 by Pastor Wayman Mitchell. A spiritual fire was launched that is spanning the globe. Now, over 3,200 churches have been planted in over 130 nations of the world with the number growing daily. From that, crusades and conferences sprung up that are touching tens of thousands every year. This church is a product of that vision and is working to see it expanded in the short time that remains before Jesus' return. God has given us a vision for the day we live in. Our message is simple, yet it is the cornerstone of all truth. Jesus Christ is the only hope for man's salvation and that is true with every person in every nation on the globe. In a world full of empty dreams and false promises is a truth which grows stronger every year, and that is Jesus Christ and Him crucified!
